Exciting things coming up:

One month from today is 826NYC's "The Prom You Were Promised"

Needless to say, I am super excited!  A bunch of us are going and it's the best excuse to dress up I've had in months.  And, 3 awesome DJ sets!  And, it's way less money than that other prom I went to (you know, in highschool...), and probably less dramatic: no limos, no tables, no parents taking photos.

Tomorrow is Earth Day!  I just bought a new pump so I can re-inflate my bike tires and go for a ride this weekend when it's nice out.  That Disney movie "Earth" is also coming out tomorrow...my love for polar bears will probably convince me to spend $12 and see it in the city.  Also, that clip in the trailer of the baby bird trying to fly is the cutest thing I've ever seen.

And on a personal excitement level: my dad is coming next week(!), my cousin from Amsterdam is coming in May, and I'm moving to a (hopefully) way more awesome 'hood in June!!!

and now: a moment of silence for my camera that was lost over the weekend at a karaoke bar.  I always knew there was a reason I don't do karaoke.
